Osmocote

A Compound Fertilizer With Controlled Nutrient Release (Controlled Release Fertilizer)
The nutrients contained in this fertilizer are released slowly and continuously over a long period of time
This is made possible by a special resin-based permeable coating on each fertilizer granule

Illustration Description

  1. Water vapor or soil moisture penetrates the permeable coating and dissolves the nutrients inside the fertilizer granule
  2. The dissolved nutrients create osmotic pressure on the coated layer of the granule
  3. The nutrient solution is then gradually released through diffusion, little by little

Available in 3 formulations:
17 – 11 – 10
13 – 13 – 13
6 – 13 – 25
Advantages:
  1. Minimizes nutrient loss caused by leaching, especially in tropical regions with high rainfall
  1. Ensures continuous nutrient availability, so nutrients are readily available when plants need them
  1. Saves cost, labor, and time, as a single application can supply nutrients for a long period
  1. Highly suitable for orchid growing media, which typically has high water permeability
  1. Reduces nutrient loss caused by soil fixation, significantly increasing fertilizer efficiency
  1. Not affected by soil acidity (pH) and helps reduce environmental pollution

Highly suitable for:
  1. Nursery and seedling production: such as clove, coffee, cocoa, rubber, oil palm, coconut, tea, and others.

  1. Industrial crops: clove, coffee, pepper, cocoa, tea, and others
  1. Vegetable crops: chili, tomato, and others
  1. Fruit crops: apple, citrus, grape, and others

  1. Ornamental plants: various types of orchids, roses, begonias, souvenir plants, and others
